Strange, I tested the link and I'm getting the old file, both 'Expected' numbers match your log. This file does change so expect it and due to the lack of a release maintainer XP SP3 English will soon become Unofficial and fast.

OK, the cache is updated and I'm getting the new file: Size: 354728 / Hash: CEF2450823E0795CCE0EF6BF6F8C2DF0 (same as above).

not sure how to view the log
The hit_this...cmd file, dbl-click it, look for apup.log after APUP finishes. View the log using any text editor. Read Here! for more info on creating and posting log files. Use [spoiler ]=log=file=here=[ /spoiler] to post logs (bring the brackets together) to create...

Hmm, good question. You do know the AutoPatcher project is winding down so it's hard to say what the future holds. I'm going to help a friend with her AutoPatcher release this weekend, if I can find the correct info I may update XP SP3 English - no promises.

There's only one small change needed to make the apm file recognize the latest rootcerts (excluding the date and all) and have it show in blue:

...Open KB931125_xp_x86_rootcert.apm in notepad and look for - KeyValue=26,0,2195,0 - change it to KeyValue=27,0,2195,0 - save changes.

This should cause AutoPatcher to pickup the latest rootcerts, assuming you installed it, and yes you can use AutoPatcher on this file because the file is static (doesn't change) so the commands continue to work (for installation) - just not the detections (to appear in blue - installed). You don't want to do this with other updates in the release but static files are OK (you will need the new detection info though). Btw, the script will delete the edited apm and replace it with the old one (if you run APUP again) until the script is updated with the new info - that is my no promises caveat :)

Give it a try, if you have the latest rootcerts in the folder, use AutoPatcher to install it (should remain black until you edit the apm). Now, (make change in apm file) and fire up AutoPatcher - see if the detections worked???

Since more releases are going to become Unofficial due to lack of release maintainers I would advise starting AutoPatcher with everything unchecked using an answer file and keeping a close eye on what you install - just my $0.02.

Done. Please report any issues.

I added a section for an html file (clog_xp_x86.html) - as in 'changelog_xp_x86' that will list the latest changes to the release, important notes about problem updates, maybe a few links to helpful sites etc, but I have the file commented out in the script due to the uncertainty of the project. I'm still working on it and if it seems useful I will upload it to the server assuming I can still access the ftp in the near future.

Fix: KB938127_IE7 - rename apm & folder - renamed so they will align with the other files/folders of the same name (ordered)

Btw, it looks like Domenico updated 7x64 so I would get it while the gettin' is good :)
