Hello,
I've released a first Seven SP1 x64 script.
This script can update "SP0" release (remove all old hotfixes).
Please test it and send me a feedback.
Thanks.

A word of Caution to the user base - If you were around when we went from XP SP2 to SP3 - the script removed all the updates pre SP3, this made some people mad.
If you would like to keep one Windows 7 pre SP1 release in tact for now - copy the release over and update the 'copy', not the 'original'.
Domenico, do you have plans (as long as Microsoft offers them) to offer a Windows 7 (no service pack) release until it is known that service pack 1 is solid?

an small issue: the service pack level isn't stated at autopatcher.log, but the restrictions respect the service pack level. also, autopatcher is able to detect IE9:
AutoPatcher 5.6 loaded the filesystem.

Good info, thanks Cristiano.
Is there anything in the info you posted that let's us know that is SP1, maybe Windows Installer version, anything. Until the source is updated, and unless the user states their OS is Windows 7 SP1 - can we know some other way?

as suspected, WU offers kb2484033, kb2505438 and kb2488113 even if the user already has ie9. so, no big deal, the issue can be solved by removing the restriction to ie8. but kb2475792 is offered by the release and can't be applied. i didn't checked if this issue is due ie9 or due sp1, but as ie9 has changed something in jscript... by the way: the script was tested under an vm running:
AutoPatcher 5.6 loaded the filesystem.

edit: no, i have no clue if is possible know the user service pack level with that. maybe, just maybe, Windows Installer version may help. i'm not sure if there's any post with an log from seven sp0. if there's not, then it's just deploy any vm with sp0

I've installed two cleaned virtual machines.
VM #01: Windows Seven x64 SP1 (clean)
Critical: KB2425227, KB2475792, KB2479628, KB2479943, KB2485376, KB971033, KB2482017, KB890830
NonCritical: KB2484033, KB2505438, KB2488113
VM #02: Windows Seven x64 SP1 and IE9
Critical: KB2425227, KB2479628, KB2479943, KB2485376, KB971033, KB890830
NonCritical: KB2484033, KB2488113
After IE9 installation KB2475792, KB2482017 and KB2505438 are not required.
So... Are you sure that KB2484033 and KB2488113 are restricted only to IE8? WU proposes me these hotfixes after IE9 installation.
Thx.

the modules are:
but those are required. but well, the fix it's very easy, it's just change that InternetExplorer=8 by InternetExplorer=ANY
by the way, if helps, an image of all the updates that are deployed after ie9 and seven sp1, including those that are required if the user has office 2010 (x64 anyway)

sorry about the size of the image, but i didn't found my disk with my image tools yet. they are old, but work fine

It does not pick Windows 7 sp1 as default. Just picks Windows 7. So that should be fixed.
