Hello,
I would like to contact someone from the Autopatcher team regarding the development of a Translator pack and possible update scripts for their software. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any mail-address on the site and also the mailing lists don't seem to work for me.
Could you please tell me how I can contact them?

I'm not sure exactly what you have in mind - read this thread for a bit of info.
Follow up with some details on what you would like to do and what specific OSes, languages etc you would like to support. We'll go from there.

I forgot to mention, most of the info at autopatcher.com is outdated, the links are dead as you've seen. We are short handed so the scripts and the forum is where we spend our time for now. You can follow up in this thread, if things need to be private use PM.

The link you gave me already helped, but this is what I intend to do:
I've recently made a script that automatically installs the latest service pack on Windows XP, Vista and 7 OS's.
The idea was to link this functionality with Autopatcher so that after the right service pack has been installed the OS
can be patched with the latest updates automatically.
I'm glad to hear that for Vista and 7 the language of the updates doesn't matter, but this isn't the case for XP. So I would like to
make an update script for Dutch Windows XP updates. I'm assuming this has to be done with a Translator pack, but it's just a little bit confusing to me.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't there more than one Dutch LCID? Regardless, have you tried to load AutoPatcher or APUP on your particular Dutch OS? Does the display read properly for you?
Now, I wasn't around much when the trans packs were being used but i don't think you will need it - not positive though. Since you likely wont be maintaining a release you wont need to create a script for APUP, but you will need to create an apm (AutoPatcher Module) file for every update you would like AutoPatcher to install.
Most of the command reference will be English - file, registry, and component detection but, you will use your LCID for the 'Title', 'Description', and OS language that the update will target. We can get more into this, here's a simple apm example:
One thing to note, AutoPatcher will show Unofficial / Unsupported since you wont be signing the release. This makes no difference as to how AutoPatcher installs updates, if you create an appropriate apm file the update will install just fine. We don't give out the rti tool, only to release managers.
Have a look at the only documentation we have, it's old but usable - AP Docs
If you haven't yet, I would download a release, something to load and see how AutoPatcher functions on your Dutch system - Download AP
You may want to grab an 'All' Language release and monkey with the LCID sections I mentioned in the apm files. This will cause the release to become Unofficial, just don't install anything, make sure no updates are selected for install unless that's exactly what you want to do.
