How careful do users need to be about the various flavors of Windows 7 autopatcher please ... Is it likely to be a bad thing to run autopatcher loaded for Windows 7 SP1 on an original Windows 7 system?
Equally (other way round) will the "wrong" patches be applied if an autopatcher loaded for original Windows 7 is run on a Windows 7 SP1 system?

Don't mix the releases like I mentioned in our other discussion - the problems are unknown at this time.
If you run the AutoPatcher for Windows 7 (SP0) release on a recently updated Windows 7 (SP1) system AutoPatcher may or may not detect the installed patches from the service pack, attempting to install updates may or may not break something. Please don't risk it!
==>> Only use the AutoPatcher for Windows 7 (SP1) release on a Windows 7 (SP1) machine
==>> Only use the AutoPatcher for Windows 7 (SP0) release on a Windows 7 (SP0) machine
Update: We've removed the AutoPatcher for Windows 7 (SP0) releases from the releases list.
Note: Patch = Update = Hotfix
A file installed to fix a problem on a Windows-based computer.
