current OS - Win7 X64 with SP1

I tried downloading Windows 7 SP1 with A.P. but the total file size of my folder (which did include updates PRE-SP1) seemed too small, So i decided to delete it, and download all updates again.

This was part successful, i found errors either with the script or the programs itself.

APUP log attached --

alright now i am not permitted to upload this kind of file (*.txt)

so here is the log
Spoiler

Download Error: C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\apup131\apup\modules\Critical\KB890830_files\windows-kb890830-v3.17.exe
The 7 x86 SP1 release is no longer being updated (as far as I can tell). The failing file is a result of a dead link, the only way to fix it is to try and locate that version of MRT - v3.17 - and drop it in the correct folder, otherwise redownload and uncheck this release.

Download Error: C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\apup131\apup\modules\Components\directx_files\directx_Jun2010_redist.exe
Read Here!, this should fix DirectX.

Download Error: C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\apup131\apup\modules\stand_alone\AdobeAIRInstaller.apm_files\AdobeAIRInstaller.exe
I'm guessing the latest Adobe AIR is out (v2.7.0.19460), unless someone updates the script (unlikely at this point, no volunteers), this script will remain Unofficial.

Sadly, with essentially no one assisting this project failing releases are the norm. The only thing I can say to you is download again only those releases that are Official, uncheck those that aren't.

I think you can safely get 7x64SP1, dotnet, adobe reader, the link will help you fix DirectX. I'm not sure about the Office releases. Run AutoPatcher (not APUP), load the releases, click About -> Release Info, the releases that show True are safe to download, anything Unofficial will likely remain that way.

Sorry, there are no more volunteers at this point :( We have for ever tried to get users to ask ahead of time about the project to help avoid this but still it is only after that we get a chance to help. BTW, the Office Addon Pack also fails so I would not select it.

Your log should go in Spoiler code, there are 2 pinned topics about this but they don't seem to get read.

@SoL_SFL13

I fixed Adobe AIR so you should be able to get it as well. I was wrong about the AIR version, 2.7.0 is still at RC2, this AIR must have been a security or bugfix. Anyway, you can try AIR again, it should verify. BTW, I wouldn't wait so long between updates, MRT v3.17 for 7x86 was likely available for 30 days, at least use WU or MU.

I'm not sure what the forums will have to offer a month from now so I would look over the forums or ask before you run APUP again. I would get a screenshot of APUP's Available Releases screen, if you see no change in the Date don't bother trying to update the release, it may only break something. If one release appears to have been updated select only that box, uncheck the others.
