While perusing here: http://www.ryanvm.ne...=7030&start=100 the discussion about KB970159 User-Mode Driver Framework v 1.9 update for XP was mentioned.

I searched Microsoft for the KB number and found Article ID: 970159 - Last review: June 23, 2011 - Revision 1.0 here: http://support.micro....com/kb/970159.

After installation on XP Pro w/SP3 I checked the .LOG file and the following snippet from it indicates this is a valid update for XP:

0.609: WUDFCustom: installing version (1,9,0,7600.16385).
0.609: WUDFCustom: Checking for presence of previous UMDF installation.
0.609: WUDFCustom: Found binary %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\wudfrd.sys version (1.0.0.5716.32)
0.625: WUDFCustom: Found binary %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\wudfpf.sys version (1.0.0.5716.32)
0.640: WUDFCustom: Found binary %WINDIR%\system32\wudfhost.exe version (1.0.0.5716.32)
0.656: WUDFCustom: Found binary %WINDIR%\system32\wudfsvc.dll version (1.0.0.5716.32)
0.672: WUDFCustom: Found binary %WINDIR%\system32\wudfx.dll version (1.0.0.5716.32)
0.687: WUDFCustom: Found binary %WINDIR%\system32\wudfplatform.dll version (1.0.0.5716.32)
0.703: WUDFCustom: Found binary %WINDIR%\system32\wudfcoinstaller.dll version (1.0.0.5716.32)
0.703: WUDFCustom: UMDF installation is older than current.

I am posting this here so those in the know can review and/or validate the possible necessity of adding this item to AutoPatcher. :D

Oh well, no harm in bringing it to everyone's attention. Maybe it will be made public in the future.

for sure. most of the non-public updates someday are made public. then, the problem will be the size of the .net script. with the addition of the missing updates in that script, the size of it will increase about 175MB
