Suggestion/Possibility for the update down...

First, let me say thank you to anyone who has made any contribution to building AutoPatcher over the years. I think of this as the most useful utility ever for updating and maintaining Windows. I'm a tech and use this for all of the systems that I'm doing a fresh format and reinstall on or any new computers that my clients bring me.

Second, I'm not a software writer, so this isn't a criticism, and even if it were, I wouldn't be able to do anything about it. I was using the beta just a little while back and noticed that one or two of the downloads seemed to stall a bit. I believe that it was probably just the program being put in some queue for the download on Microsoft's servers. I used the AP beta a couple of times and noticed that sometimes I just had to start it over in order to get certain updates to finish downloading, or I'd have to go get it myself. In other downloads over the years, I've noticed that sometimes just pausing a slow download and then restarting it, made it finish up and with better speed. Anyway it made me think of all the download managers like "Down Them All" the Firefox plug in that uses multiple threads for the downloads and allows for pausing a download. My question is whether or not that sort of thing could be integrated into AutoPatcher for help speeding up the downloads of all the individual updates.

Thank You again,
Vic
