When trying to download updates for an existing (german) 32bit Win7 installation with apup.exe
then an error popup appears:

Error "One or more files failed verification. Please re-run Autopatcher update"

Yes the error appears every time I start apup.exe

Where do I get some more details?
Which file verifiction failed?
Is it an network error?
Can I skip the file in focus?

Is there a log file where the exact details are listed?

run apup.exe with the /log command. make a batch file with that command line. basicly open notepad/wordpad and trype this line in "apup.exe /log" without the quotes. then click file -> Save as and at the bottom of the new window there is a slelection box called save as type. select all files then call the new file apup.bat. done. Run the bat file.

I just got this error several successive times as well. I ran with the option to produce the log, which I was going to attach here, but the forum tells me I'm not permitted to upload this kind of file. Interesting. Anyway, I've attached following the bit of the log that looks relevant.

Oh, btw - I'm running the apup on Windows 7 X64, with Admin rights, in case it's relevant.

mrt was updated. but due those delays between the scripts be updated, it's likelly that mrt be moved to an common script. and in fact is an good idea. this one works for all languages and all OS's. so, why update several scripts if the issue could be solved just by updating one?

I'm having the same problem, but I'm only posting my log in case it proves to be useful, since I get a few more errors in the detection routine phase. I've tried to shorten unuseful information in the log as much as I could, against your advice, in order to not waste too much of your time.

I'm running AutoPatcher in Windows XP SP3 (x86) updated last Tuesday. I have other programs running at the same time with "fetching/downloading releases", but none that should interfere with the process (no antivirus or firewall).

If you need more information than can be found in the log or the entire log would be more useful... Also, I've been programming in Visual Basic / & .NET for the past 10 years as a hobby... I'm willing to show my gratitude by helping with the project, I'm sure I can help somehow sometime. Your work has been useful to me the past few years.

Only a cause for your issues: XP SP3 ENU script is not updated (you are downloading autopatcher_xp_sp3_enu_20110713.script).
New common modules release delete MRT v21 to download the new v22 file. Instead AutoPatcher XP SP3 ENU, re-download the v21 file!
Furthermore, KB2536276 has been update to v2 and old version has been removed from MS server.

You must only wait XP SP3 ENU script update... Cristiano is very busy in this moment.
