We have decided to remove the main page. It was horribly out dated in news, links and help. People will now land in our forums when looking up Autopatcher.
Pros:
* Easier to maintain and update.
* Abundance of information to help people at a quick glance.
* People can see the project still has a following and is not dead.(front page was more then a year old)
Cons:
* Not totally professional looking.(I don't mind though... do you?)
* Information overload for people doing quick search?
Plans are still underway to get more things done:
* We have plans for a wiki to come in sometime the first week of next month.(HUZZA!).
* When the wiki comes in I plan to do some forum cleaning. I will remove old old help threads that have been answered but, before removing them I will use them to help put together a FAQ and to help me create a guide.
* Ads which used to help pay the site are now down due to removing the front page. The adds will come back but, in the forums.(Sad but, you know it had to be somewhere in order to pay the bills.)
* Another update to the forum version is due. Also some minor changes in the forum as well.
Comments on the changes are welcome as well as advice for any plugins/wiki types for the wiki.(I recommended MediaWiki)
No more Main page

Hi, do you mind looking into the redirection of autopatcher.com to the forums? Apparently, sometimes I do get a domain page telling me to do some surveys just to get 1 hour of access to its contents.
Thanks!

this "should" be solved when we can get the update installed to the forums and do a bit of winter cleaning to the content.

No more main page. That shouldn't be an issue. If the forum had a new header under the " General Discussion " like a title of " What is Autopatcher " with a description and download link and maybe even a picture of the program, this would give a new visitor immediate information on the program and a reason to look at the forum.
Quick and effective.
