Download link on the main page

I know that the new derivation of AutoPatcher is still very much in development, but as the 1.0x mark has been hit (and found to be very useful!), would it be permissible to restore the download link for the main page? For folks new to AutoPatcher, there is a fair bit of digging through the forums necessary order to find the executable. It would be nice to be able to point them to the main page and have them go from there.
I certainly appreciate the hard work that Antonis and company do to keep this project going - please know that I am very grateful for your time & effort. I offer this suggestion with the greatest respect.

Don't let the 1.0.x version number fool you, the program is very much still beta (although it is reasonably functional).
I have said before that there needs to be some sort of update on the main page to alert people to the fact that AP is not dead, but it appears either 1) Nobody with the correct permissions can make a post/change the page; or 2) They don't want to draw mass attention to themselves quite yet.
