James is correct. Sun has some kind of "random token system" which a random hash is created everytime you download from their servers. Because of this, any type of static download URL will always fail since the "download link" always changes.
Just to say it, but has anyone talked to sun? They might do something for us.

I may be a bit late, but I have a web server with unlimited bandwidth that is available, only 1.5Gb of storage space though.
If you'd like to use this server to help out with bandwidth or anything, just let me know, I don't use it any more but it's paid for until 30th July 08.

Just to note guys, I'm still here! (I was one of the main AutoPatcher mirrors back in the day). Though things have changed for me (I now use 2 separate downloads servers that I pull my files from), I still have plenty of space and bandwidth on these download servers if they could be put to good use here. They each use 10Mbit unmetered lines and I probably only use around 35% of each. Feel free to contact me whenever if you want to know more.

If you guys need a hand let me know, I've developed alot in Linux/UNIX environments using APACHE and so forth, as far as like, download mirrors, and load balancing among hosts, its quite simple really. I use auto-updated at my business to update client computers, and it works great, I would love to donate my time to help you out if you need any.
