I've been reading around about AP, and I'm still very confused, because I think some of the things I'm reading are to do with the "old" AP and some to do with the "new" AP, so it's made me quite unsure what is actually possible with the new AP

so a simple question really, can I download all post-SP2 updates (even though I have a lot already installed on my comp) and either A) slipstream them into a Windows install (nLite for example) or B) if that's not possible, make an "update" disc (iso) to just run on the computer after a Windows install?

if either of these are possible could someone give me just a simple overview of how?

any help appreciated,

cheers

Yes, you can do both!

Run APUP to get the patches, run AutoPatcher to patch your system, and burn the directory to CD for use post-install.

You can sift through the \Modules directory and integrate with nLite if you want to, although personally I think it's best to just patch post-install.
