KB940349 - Volume Shadow Copy Service Rollup package

Replaces:

• KB931312
• KB940041
• KB940239
• KB940252
• KB939989
AP 2003 / 32-bit is still offering KB931312.

There's also a 64-bit version of KB940349 which needs adding.

Cheers.

Phil

Second time is a charm. KB931312 now being deleted by APUP.

Additionally it looks like MS is removing KB936594 which KB948496 has always done the same thing.

The only difference between the two are:
948496 disables TCPChimney in the registry and 936594 does not touch this setting.
948496 is a Critical update and 936594 is an Optional update.

All of these updates except for KB944338 have been superseded by SP2. KB944338 will be pushed out in the next couple of days.

Hmmm ... Doh. SP2 has not been "approved" for our environment yet. Any semi-easy way of getting these added?

Sorry. This release will only be for SP2 for now. Since I am a one man crew doing all the English modules... You know what I'm saying?

For goodness sake, SP2 has been out for over a year.

It's fine once the hotfix disabling the Scalable Networking Pack has been applied (see above).
