I had trouble finding a guide to APUP use.

This is what worked for me.

Create a folder named Autopatcher. Download APUP and put it in the Autopatcher folder.
Run APUP and select the files your interested in. To patch your machine run the AutoPatcher.exe file that has appeared in the Autopatcher directory you created.

Voila!
NEAT!

Burning the contents of the Autopatcher folder to a CD/R or DVD/R gives you an autostart media disk that can be taken from computer to computer.
