Autopatcher.exe runs fast and installs not...

I read the FAQ and I know about the "no symbols in the username" issue. I created a user "test", with no password,. and with local admin privileges. I try running it and it seems to install a smattering of updates, like windows defender, highmat update, etc.. but zips through the other 160 or so without installing 98% of them. Anyone else see this issue?
Background:
I downloaded the apup package yesterday and the apup download hiccuped overnight, I had to restart it but when I did it ran through OK after a few re-trys, and then I got the autopatcher.exe. I burned it all to a DVD and tried running it from there, then tried copying to the local drive, still no luck.
Thanks!

Whoops, nevermind, stand down, It was my old crappy nero burning software, I tried burning with a newer Roxio and it works fine now.
Thanks!
