Microsoft: why not just upload AutoPatcher it to Rapidshare

Instead of looking for ways around this why not just upload to Rapidshare etc and deny all knowledge of it, it would be easier yes?

we can't do that because microsoft send us an notification about that some time ago. so, we can't anymore distribute his updates in packages, since ms says that the only one reliable source for that is his own servers. so, the current version of autopatcher match with that request from ms, because all downloads from ms updates are done from his own servers. but you still can save that in any media to use it in other machines ;)
