Ran apup2 today after seeing update scripts available and checked the logfile for any errors and this one reappeared.

Ran apup2 several times just in case it was trying to download while the server wasn't available... no joy same error

ya that version of apup2 doesn't know how to handle some server error responses. It tries to open script files that are actually filled with a server error page and it tries to parse it for commands. Could you tell me what you were trying to get? It probably means that one of the release lists were bad or because I was working on them at the time.

so fill this out...
What List where you using?

What Downloads where you trying to get?

If more then one download, Which download do you think failed?

ViroMan I was using releases.list and trying to download the new updates for Win XP that click-click posted.
The only other download it was trying to get was dotnet.rti which was deleted before the error in the log.

well click click posted the changes but he can't make them the changes yet. I was making them at that moment... that was probably the problem like I thought it might be. Try it now.
