I am running Windows 7 Enterprise edition. When I run apup.exe, I get the following error:

bad file name or number
in prjupdater.mdgeneral.createpath at line114

If I click ok, the same error keeps appearing. This happens even if I run it as administrator.

Has anyone seen this?

Thanks for your help,

Brandon

Sounds like it is having trouble creating a directory. Where did you put apup.exe?

I think I just figured it out. I have it on a network share. I will try to put in on my local drive and see what happens.

I moved it to my local drive and it worked.

ya.. apup isn't capable of working on a network share unless its mapped to a drive letter. im pretty sure apup2 can though, although its still in beta.
