Got them both from the same install. When I did the install and verified what was installed I also noticed the different names: Minimum Runtime and Additional Runtime. Have no idea as to why. If you check my list - same naming convention for the x86 items too.

Been almost a week since I posted the above.

I know sorry.. I got a temp job and its a grueling one. Serious manual labor here. It pays fairly well but, I come home so damn tired and sore. The kind of weak and sore that you can barely hold up a bottle of soda let alone drive a manual shift car home. Later on today or this weekend I will be able to do more work on the scripts and apup.

Glad to hear you (finally) got a job - manual labor will keep you tired and just wanting to go to bed.

Us retirees gave up on that kind of stuff years ago.

Windows Addons > Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Basic 2012 is black - instllation fails as item is compatible with Vista or later, not XP.

Your right, the OS line got deleted in the x86 apm. Correcting. Think I will add the one you suggested above and change the script name to MS Redistributables.

Also, this Update 1 installs in XP - so the APMs will have to be updated.

I got some time to work this up now. Thanks for the reg look ups.

DJ this installer is a web installer. It would require user interaction and therefore can't be installed automatically for the user. There doesn't seem to be any links for a complete offline install. There are ways to make one but not a way to download one.
