I am very new to this forum. I wanted to update my xp sp3 with latest updates but since it wasnt genuine, i turned off the automatic updates. I tried googling and found about auto patcher. i downloaded and opened it. it downloaded some updates around 1GB. now i want to know, how to install the updates. Please HELP.

Welcome, the documentation you should read is pinned in the general support forum ,this should answer your questions and get you using aupatcher to update your system.
Once you have downloaded your updates via APUP then run autopatcher, once modules and verification are done will have the autopatcher main window where you can select what updates to install.Suggestion start with what is ticked in the checkboxes first( or if system is fresh start with critical) and move your way through until you have installed all that is needed. After each pass allow system to reboot to apply updates

Hope this helps you getting started

Just a heads up that the admins around here will probably lock (or delete) this thread. AutoPatcher is intended to be used only for genuine Windows installs. Not completely sure what you mean by not genuine (could have been flagged falsely), but the guys here do not endorse piracy of any kind. Microsoft already nearly shut the project down several years ago.

This is very dangerous, and since AutoPatcher is designed to run on Genuine (non pirated) OSes, it isn't uncommon for computers to catch on fire. The first step is to get your OS genuined (call Microsoft, get a valid key), then use AutoPatcher.

I am pleased that I left this alone and it received the proper responses. We do not care to support non-genuine windows. While we have been burned in the past by Microsoft we do like to stay within the laws. Please get a genuine key. It allows you to get support from Microsoft.
