Hi, I am currently running Windows XP SP2 on my machine and I was wondering if I use autopatcher to install SP3 will it install Genuine Advantages? This is the main reason i do not want to update from the windows server. I feel WGA is way to invasive, and I absolutely do not want this on my PC. Thanks for any help in advance Posted Image .

Firstly welcome, and answer to your question is that Windows Genuine Advantage is user optional that is to say that upto you if you want to install it.
Secondly autopatcher does not install service packs, they are up to the user to download and install b4 using autopatcher.
I hope this helps you with the answers to your questions

WGA may come in one of the SP's im sure you can get yourself up to the required SP without getting WGA installed... although it is rather difficult. Installing all the patches that are in each SP and then editing your registry properly so that it displays the proper SP number and also Windows product ID. That has to be done in multiple places.
