AutoPatcher does not include SP1 - it must be downloaded directly from Microsoft - you're looking for: windows6.1-KB976932-x86.exe or -x64 or - ia64 - depending on your operating system.

@sand... you need to go the following site http://www.microsoft...ils.aspx?id=584

scroll down the page until you see windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe - if you have a 64 bit operating system or windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe for 32 bit system, click the download button for your selection , sit back until down is complete then install.
Once installed then you can run apup to download the updates that you require.

To determine if you have a 32 or 64 bit operating system, click on control panel find the icon marked system and click..scroll down the page and should tell you if 32 or 64 bit.

hmmm... perhaps we should include the sp in each script to avoid the constant questions about it. its only one extra file... but... what a doozy of a file.

I thought the decision had been made long ago that the user was expected to have the relevent Service Pack already installed when using AutoPatcher; that's why it says XP w/SP3 , Win7 w/SP1 etc.

indeed it had been... we still get the same problems in here almost every other month though. Wish we could get the site updated and a wiki put in... just can't get ahold of frank for that. At least we got the anti-spam stuff put in. that was a pain in the A$$

This is true but, we can't build pages there and use them as our manual. That page exists to talk about us and what we do. If it did more it would be redactid by others.

We can update it with newer information though.'

Edit: I have updated that wiki. Give me feedback on it. Needs more?
