So I installed and used auto patcher, and everything went smooth. Before I did I checked windows and said I needed 7 updates, but after the patcher ran, it was 6. I did everything applicable to Windows 7. Is this normal? Or did I do something wrong?

It's possible that the windows 7 script is missing 6 files. We try to keep up to date as possible but, that can't always happen. The best use of this tool is not to keep up to date every month but, to have most of the updates already downloaded and stored separately should something happen to your current install. This tool is particularly useful to those people who either have a slow internet connection or work with lots of computers. At the moment you can't expect us to stay up to the latest month every time considering we are all under time constraints as of lately. I wish we could have more people like whatacrock and click click who help out.

I did it a little bit ago, again and it went to 5 updates missing. It's weird.

This is normal, MU/WU will offer updates for your system specifically, you may have needs other systems will not have depending on installed software etc.
Also, it may come up that you either installed an update using MU/WU but AutoPatcher doesn't pick it up - or vise versa, this is a good time to bring up the conflict in the appropriate forum so a proper detection can be found or added.

Since the list is small, what are the updates, are they critical, can you provide the KB number and the title, maybe they can be added if they're of a more general nature versus an update that may only apply to a handful of systems.
