Well I went threw and spent several hours more today and now there are only 39 left to do. Perhaps by Saturday the script will be ready for public use.

Ok the preliminary scripts are done and uploaded. You can't see them yet because its on the test release list. I have to test the scripts before I will place them in the main list and sign the release. Im sure there are a few copy paste errors... I mean... 110+ files is a lot of copy pasting + edits. ohh and the downloads are over 520 mb's. Thats almost a new cd worth of just updates.

The script is mostly done. There is testing to be done for autopatcher. Apup2 and later apup will run the download script fine but, autopatcher may not detect if the patches are installed correctly. It does install the patches just fine though. It has to do with the way autopatcher was compiled. It HAS the ability to detect x64 registry entries but, it seems it doesn't always detect properly.

Use apup2 and go into the options area... put in the following url
http://www.autopatch.../releases2.list

ONLY download the XP x64 script the other scripts are test scripts that are old.

Latest script has been uploaded to the main list and signed. THIS OS IS SUPPORTED AGAIN!

Something seems to be amiss....release is signed but autopatcher is stating false.
In autopatcher release info states title as Windows Xp X64...shouldn't it state Windows XP x64??

Also on the release is signed and getting false... do you have the apengine.rti in root dir. It will always be false if it doesn't have that in there.

thats why I always say the it should be this way...

This will hit 90% of registry detections when it comes to windows updates as long as you have the path(just change the KB number) right.

@DesertJerry...your ap telling that it is in Critical when upon checking mine it's in Non Critical.

If his apm is different... apup should flag and re-download.

hmm.. so after reading the above post I checked my copy of that apm and its as WAC(lol abbreviations are fun) says... perhaps you have an early version of the apm? It should get flagged and re-download.

wait wait wait... are you using his batch file still or are you using main list. You should be using main list now.

The release is no longer located in my dropbox...removed it when release went to main list as official.
All that are left on my dropbox are the Windows XP x86 test script and another which I'm testing on my own for the time being.
Everyone please use the one on the main list of APUP.

The last time I tried the batch file it did not work - I did use the option as presented in APUP1 - just checked and it is: AutoPatcher For Windows XP SP2 (x64) English 24 Aug 2012 - will recheck it and download but verification will have to wait.

Non-Critical Updates - two black - KB2661254, KB2732052 - selected - installed - restart AutoPatcher - KB2661254 still black.

Checked KB2661254-x64-ENU.apm - Requires Reboot=False - so, why still black?

The information pertaining to KB954708 is in the support bulletin...a little hard to understand.
As mentioned by ViroMan the keyname and keyvalue should be written as posted..there can be exceptions to this rule however.

As for KB2661254 still displaying in black after installing have not a clue....detections were done after WU downloaded and installed on my system...shows blue!!!!

KB2732052 is a timezone adjustment update and unless you are in one of the affected areas then will remain black....was added in so that those in the areas of the world where this applies may utilise the update.

XP Pro x64 w/SP2

As a test I selected AP Common Modules 23 Aug 12 and Extras Addon Pack 23 Aug 12 for re-downloading and then checked - XMP item APM - it was still the one I had edited. Have no idea as to what sub-item is really part of. Oh well, mine is still blue.

Thanks - went to the Wikipedia page - all info right over my head. I use Adobe Reader but do not produce anything requiring its use so XMP MetaData is not high on my list of things to learn about.
