Have finally gotten around to updating the Windows XP x64 Test script.
Changes have been made, have uploaded to my dropbox so any braves out there wishing to give it a whirl the link to it is attached to the posting.
Same instructions as per Windows XP x86 Test Script...download the archive, extract to your apup folder(or backup) and execute..
Please remember to make a backup of your apup/autopatcher before running this......no responsibility on my part if advise not adhered to.
Also remember to report any errors so that admendments can be made for the benefit of others.
Enjoy peoples.

XP Pro x64 w/SP2
AutoPatcher > Microsoft Windows - Updated Components > check mark in box: Windows Update agent v7.4.7600.229 test - 64-bit
problem because Microsoft Windows - Common Files has check mark in box: Windows Update Agent v7.4.7600.243 (x64)
seems to me this is redundent - why both? and why in different places? and listing should be the same in both places; i.e. 64-bit versus (x64) - pick one and stay with it.
Everything else looks ok.

@DesertJerry--- have checked through XP x64 script and I have no reference to Windows Update Agent listed.
Since you seem to have 2 references and one is older than the other it means you have a rogue file in your midst.
A suggestion is to download ViroMan's Sweeper application, and run it in test mode...this will produce a log containing the files that should be removed....upon that recommendation delete the rogue files and recheck your AP.
Please report back once you have done this
