It is now October 8 and it STILL fails verification!

... and it's October 8th and you have yet to provide a log file, geez.
Domenico is keeping track of 90% of the scripts, at least throw him a bone and let him know what file(s) is failing.

Indeed. It works fine for me. I suspect you have an extra file somewhere. Please provide a log.

I just found out that if I include the Common Modules update 11 Sept., it fails verification, but if I start again from a somewhat older update and don't include Common Moduels, it is OK!

The Extras Addon Pack release as well as the Common Modules have been updated and signed.
You should now have no problems but on the odd chance that you do can you please post a log so we can see what may be wrong.

Yes... please give us a log. Run Apup again with the command /log just click
Start -> run
then hit browse.
Browse to the apup.exe and hit open.
Then add at the end of the provided string add /log
edit: derp I forgot...
OR run the batch file that is given to you with your download. called... "hit_this_to_generate_a_log_file_for_apup.cmd"
