If I include Common Modules update 11 September 2012, I in some cases get the message that some files could not be verified.
But if I do it again from a somewhat older update and don't include Common Modules, I don't get that message!!!
Something is fishy here!
Please check!

The file verification error would of occurred as Microsoft has updated the Malicious Software Tool.
The Common Modules release has been updated and released.
Please give it another try and please report if there is still a problem.
