After downloading all patches with apop.exe I restarted now a couple of times AP for my current 64bit Win7 pro system.

Much to my surprise three (!) of the black entries are permanently NOT applicable.
After marking them and running autopatcher.exe the installation seems to be performed (at first).
Then I rebooted Win7....and the black entries re-appear in Autopatcher as black.

In detail the Patches are:
- KB2736233
- KB2741355
- Windows Update Agent v7.6.7600.243 (x64)

I think this is a bug in AP. COuld you verify this?

Thank you
Peter

Hey Peter, you may not be aware of that the Windows Update Agent has been updated and there is no standalone installer for it.....you need to let the Operating System update this automatically and then recheck in autopatcher that the new update has installed. There have been changes made to the detection in the latest Update of the Common Modules so please download and try again.
Am interested in knowing that the detection works for Win 7 x64

Here is the link to the WUA update I posted some time ago.

As far as KB2741355 please refer to link for information

Same for KB2736233

I just noticed that I'm also having the same issues as pstein. I suspect it's more of a detection issue however. I checked to see whether or not any of these updates were installed on my computer - which like pstein's is also 64 bit Windows 7 Pro. What I found was .. KB2736233 and KB2741355 were installed on 9/11/2012. Plus, I found that Windows Update Agent was already at the more current version of 7.6.7600.256 (as I mentioned in that link that you provided).

In addtional to those three black entries, I'm showing one more: KB2647753 also is appearing black despite having been already installed on 10/9/2012.

I would like to add my 10 cents worth:

KB2647753 is marked as recommended update, but when I checked the MS info it seemed like I should definitely update it : http://support.micro....com/kb/2647753

however on trying to download and update directly from MS I get the following error "not applicable to your computer"

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

KB2741355 - I can't find it listed in my update history yet windows insists it's already there when I try to install

windows update agent is at a later version of 7.6.7600.256 yet it's showing as black and is selected by default

Ref to KB2736233 showing as not installed when it is on a win7 x64 machine.... mite check the current .apm detection file name .... I believe it has a small error in it; whereas, the ~x64~~ needs to be changed to ~amd64~~ .

@ freeloader --- you are correct in the detection. Have made amendement to the apm and will forward to the releaser for uploading...release will need to be re-signed

Also found another in the NonCritical section and have done same as above

Thanks... Also while on this link... can you check your Critical Updates listings to see if you are showing KB2476490 . If so, believe this one needs to be removed because it was replaced by KB2564958, which is also on the current list. Looks like applies to following AP releases.... Win7 x64 and x32... vista w/sp1 .
