Hello everyone. didn't know where to post this so mods please move if it's in the wrong forum. Also, I'm in a bind here and this question might be a little more than about Autopatcher so mods, if you want to kill it I understand. Thanks.

I'm trying to get my Win7U box to see an external drive on my XP Pro SP3 box. Sharing is properly set up for the ex/drive on the XP box. I can see the Win7 box on my XP machine but the Win7 box does NOT see the XP box. For the helluvit I'm trying to install the KB922120 LLTD update on the XP box. Attempting to d/l and install via Microsoft website I get the msg that the update is for SP2. So I used Autopatcher and it selected XP SP3 and I let it install all the updates it found. Looking at the updates installed in "Add/Remove Programs" I do not see the 922120 update installed. I thought Autopatcher would install this update but it did not. I also have the KB922120.cat file but have no clue how to (or if it would) install it. Is there some way I can get Autopatcher to install this update or how would I do it manually with the cat file?

KB922120 is a hotfix. You need to install this manually. Autopatcher does not do hotfixes.

you need to download WindowsXP-KB922120-v5-x86-ENU.exe from
http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=5577
and install that.

Thanks click-click. I just found it and installed the newest version for SP3. Still cannot access the shared drive on the XP box but this is not the place for getting into that. Thanks again.
