You are correct!

That's why when we are talking about AutoPatcher for me the most important part in its name is the first one "Auto".

Well that sounds simple enough. I will see about creating something or modifying ap with a switch.

Thanks ViroMan.

From my practice I do know that the most difficult tasks are those that look & sound simple Posted Image.
It will be very important addition for me if it become available.

I forgot to say that I'm happy with AutoPatcher!

Well AP could use some improvements... For example... if you watch your CPU usage... on a multi core system AP will eat a whole core doing nothing but, a sort of wait loop. I need to fix that, but its not high on my todo list since its not a show stopper.

Its nice to know we are loved. Hardly anyone shows up to say how nice it is to have these tools or to thank us(the current whole team: ViroMan, Domenico, Click-Click, WhatACrock, and the help from people like DesertJerry, Black Ghost, and especially Def_x_) for working on this.

lol, sorry .. a Mr. Wolfe Pulp Fiction quote seemed appropriate (or maybe not - depending on your temperment Posted Image ) Welllllll, please delete if not.

All kidding aside, whether they actually log on to give their thanks .. you guys are providing a hell of a tool (with support) here and are appreciated by a great many for it. It took me the longest time before I ever got around to create an account on here. So, ummm .. thanks Posted Image.

So... I edited AP a bit. It's not quite so "Auto" but, it will be significanty easier. Start up AP as you normally would and go past the license stuff(or start it with /nolicense ). Where you normally see the list of things to install... hit "CTRL + C" and it will select the things already installed and ask you where to save the answer file.

Hey ViroMan,

Thank You! This addition is perfect and it works exactly I needed! I tested this AP version with 3 master systems and anything is fine. Even though I find out my mistake with one of the answer files thanks to the new functionality. It’s very good because now I can save the current update profile on any system just with the key combination CTRL-C.

Thanks for the fast solution & response!

NP.. I was going to make it a switch command but, I found out that the way things currently load up everything(it loads things directly into the tree that you see, and then does a reg/file look up) has to happen first before we can save. So I, just made it a key press set.

The presence of command line switch will not harm and then “Auto” will be real.
