Its not a problem on your side... Its an older script from August and things have changed since then. Dom is working on a new script. If you want you can try the test script that I finished 5 minutes ago. It fixes the problems your showing and a few other changes.

If you want to try it... download the attached zip on my post and extract to your apup dir. Run the batch file and find your version of windows XP Italian.

NOTE: do NOT use this batch file to always update with. This batch file will give you the "test list" things may be broken in there... so ONLY use it if you have a backup of your apup dir and are willing to test things for us but, ONLY things we say can be tested.

You somehow managed to download the original script?

the itialan script I made is autopatcher_xp_x86_ita_20130104.script.

Concidering all the tweaks went missing.. it seems to me that you ran the latest script and then ran the original again.

the log even shows List file HTTP location: http://www.autopatch...m/releases.list not List file HTTP location: http://www.autopatch...m/releases2.list

Ohh its just the RTI file nothng bad. The RTI file tells Autopatcher how to validate all the files. When you run Autopatcher it will say unofficial if it can't find the proper RTI files or there are extra/missing files. It will still install things for you though.

I would fix it but, im still trying to locate my access pass to the server. Posted Image

So I did a check just now after getting an error in the upload. That rti already exists. You should not be downloading all that stuff again unless your going back and forth between the two scripts. You can't do that. IF your going to use the test script you need to keep using it until it becomes official or you decide to go back to using official, in which case you run apup with the official script and make sure to run sweeper to remove anything left behind.

So... run the test list twice. On the second time look at the log to see if it downloads anything or has errors... if it does post that.

BTW... use spoiler tags to hid the long post of the log. ex <spoiler> </spoiler>. Replace the <>'s with []'s

Hello Carlo....from your log file you have run the main release when you should be running the release2.list.

If you are running version 1.4.0 of autopatcher then you need to download this batch file ,and extract it to your apup folder.. download attachment..

Next select the release you want to download, in your case Autopatcher per Windows XP (x86), Language Italian Dated 4 Jan 2013..click Next and wait until it finishes..A little advice here...re-run the same download again..this eliminates any errors you get on the first run and post your log file PLEASE.

If you have the latest apup which is version 1.4.3 then click options, copy the link and post in download location box......http://www.autopatcher.com/releases2.list

As ViroMan has previously please do not mix up downloading from releases.list and releases2.list.....just use one or the other....advice again use releases2.list for your download

Cheers

Hello Carlo, I think you may have misunderstood my post...I know it is difficult if English is not your native language.

Firstly I have edited your posts so as to make it esier for members to read..... please try using the spoiler code --- (spoiler) Your log file here then (/spoiler) please replace the brackets with the square ones "[]"

I tested the Italian release of Windows XP sp3 and here is the log from the initial download (first time)

Spoiler

I ran the download a second time and this is the log file ..

Spoiler

It seems you downloaded from releases.list not from releases2.list

Please try the batch file and wonload the Windows XP Italian from releases2 and see what you get
Cheers

Hello,
I hope to check the Italian XP release tonight or tomorrow. Any .apm files need an update.

Italian:
Ciao,
appena ho tempo, penso in serata o massimo domani sera, do un'occhiata e ti faccio sapere. Molti file necessitano di un aggiornamento.

The .apm files need an edit, any that also apply to Windows XP - here's 2, check em' all.

[Behavior]
ParentID=
UniqueID=WINDOWS_CRITICAL_PARENT
[OperatingSystem]
WindowsVersion=VISTA,SEVEN
SystemLanguage=ANY

[Behavior]
ParentID=
UniqueID=WINDOWS_NONCRITICAL_PARENT
[OperatingSystem]
WindowsVersion=VISTA,SEVEN
SystemLanguage=ANY

Do they apply to any x64 releases, might as well get it done too! Make sure the 'Title' & 'Description' also work with 'Ita', I think is LCID 1040

If it's safe, use

[OperatingSystem]
WindowsVersion=ANY
SystemLanguage=ANY

...the release apm file will Show/Hide the update per the target script OS, Language, etc.

Sorry we removed XP from those apms to stop people complaining about them still being visible. Dom is working on the XP ITA script to be the same as WAC's script so that will be fixed. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an ETA on that since dom is so busy lately. Posted Image

XP ITA WORKS !!! Posted Image

I followed _def_x_'s instructions and edited the two apm's and everything worked fine, but for the fact that the release in NOT official...

If I'm allowed, I would list hereafter in Italian the steps to follow for the ITA Release for the benefit of the Italian speakers (To update Windows XP SP3 Italian you may follow these steps...).

4- Lanciate il file releases2.bat (e NON apup.exe o hit this to generate a log.cmd) e selezionate le seguenti Releases:
- APUP 1.4.5
- AutoPatcher Engine 5.7.5
- AutoPatcher Common Modules

5- Ripetete questa ultima operazione ancora una volta... meglio aver paura che buscarne (better to be safe than sorry)
[OperatingSystem]
WindowsVersion=VISTA,SEVEN
SystemLanguage=ANY

con
[OperatingSystem]
WindowsVersion=ANY
SystemLanguage=ANY

Good Luck to everyone!

And many thanks to all of you for this incredibly helpful initiative and for the efforts you put in it!
