I created a slipstreamed Win7 installation disc using RTSe7en Lite & was able to successfully install it (Control Panel => System option shows SP1).

I then installed APUP and ran it - I am seeing a valition error in one of the downloaded files. Find attached the screen shot of the failure. I rerean it and I am seeing the same issue.

Any suggestions?

KB890830 will create the error as the file has been updated by MS and is now version 4.16.
The scripts have been updated and can be found on the releases2.list...it hasn't been signed as yet and therefore your auopatcher will display as unofficial.

If you are running apup1.4.0.1 or above here is the link to copy and paste into it http://www.autopatch...releases2.list.
Click options to paste the link.
Then Get List and will find it there

latest version of apup can be downloaded here

http://www.autopatch...h&attach_id=692

You may want to read the thread regarding it as it is now packaged with another tool that is sweepere.exe

here is the link to the thread

For KB890830 x86 & x64 you want the AutoPatcher Common Modules script, and both lists appear to have the latest - (Date=20130108).

Post #1 mentions - "find attached the screen shot of the failure" - I must be blind because I don't see an attachment - better, post a log file.

It looks like the only list with Windows 7 x64 (Date=20121230) is the main list.

Dom's pretty busy with his job these days. Still waiting on him to give OS update scripts.
