Lately I've been running Autopatcher overnight, so I don't have to worry about the time factor (I do large updates on neglected or restored machines). But I've been coming back the next morning to find that the process was stalled due to some update having already been on the computer. Next time I will have to record the number of the update, which I failed to do this time.

Not sure where the error is - it could be me in the selection of which updates to install. Maybe the master selection boxes could be upgraded to a tri-mode affair, where the third option is to select only uninstalled items?

I'm still seeing the hanging toward the end of each update's installation. It's less noticeable on an i3 unit than on an Atom unit, but it's still there.

Thanks.

PeaBea, It always auto selects critical downloads for you. It never selects things that it believes to be already installed. If your running into the already installed issue it could be an error in our detection of already installed updates.

Once you find out which one it is please give the KB number of the update, the system OS, and SP. So we can can promptly fix it.
