Hi all. I'm new to the forum.
It's several months I'm not able to update my winXP PCs because of the error I receive from apup everytime I try to download updates. After the first time I had the error, I didn't find critical and non-critical updates in autopatcher window. I generated the log with the only module that gave me the error active. The log is below because I cannot attach it to the post.

Thanks to everyone can help me.

Firstly welcome to the forum.
Now to crux of your problem, the Windows XP Ita release is still in the process of being updated...
A edited but not updated Win XP Ita release can be found at http://www.autopatch...releases2.list.
To download the release, start your APUP, click options and in the address bar (assuming the version you are running has it) add a "2" between releasesand the dot.
Click get list and it is the one at positon 6 on the list, you may also want to download the latest APUP Updater and AP Engine whilst you are at it.

If you are unable to edit the address bar then you will need to download the zip file from here http://www.autopatch...orks-on-xp-pro/
unzip the file and paste into you APUP, excute the batch file and same as above.

Hope this helps you in this matter..

thanks for the reply but unfortunately it only half worked.
I started the batch file for release2 and it didn't gave me the error but when I started autopatcher I still couldn't see critical/non-critical updates.
So I decided to update also apup (to 1.4.5) and autopatcher engine but still don't work.
With new release2.list I have no more errors (except if I select tweaks and redistributable) but I still cannot install updates.

Thanks

Many thanks.
I'm so sorry: I stopped reading at post #2 because I downloaded release2.zip and started with tentatives.
Now it works.
Thanks again for your patience. Posted Image
