Checking for duplicates

XP Pro w/SP3; AutoPatcher v5.7.29, APUP v1.4.11

__tweakui.apm in \AutoPatcher\modules\Addons\
__tweakui.apm in \AutoPatcher\modules\Admin\

The APMs differ in:
[Behavior]
ParentID=WINDOWS_ADDONS_PARENT
UniqueID=TWEAKUI_PARENT
[Behavior]
ParentID=WINDOWS_ADMIN_PARENT
UniqueID=TWEAKUI_PARENT

[OperatingSystem] is the same for both

Only the APM in Addons contains:

[DetectionRegistry]
[DetectionFile]
[SystemComponents]
[OfficeComponents]
[Installation]
[Removal]
[Slipstream]

Are two really necessary?

ActiveSync_x86_enu.apm in \AutoPatcher\modules\Addons\
ActiveSync_x86_enu.apm in \AutoPatcher\modules\Admin\

The APMs differ in:
[Behavior]
ParentID=WINDOWS_ADDONS_PARENT
UniqueID=ActiveSync_X86_ENU
[Behavior]
ParentID=WINDOWS_ADMIN_PARENT
UniqueID=ActiveSync_X86_ENU

The same in both:
[DetectionRegistry]
RegistryPath=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{99052DB7-9592-4522-A558-5417BBAD48EE}
KeyName=DisplayVersion
KeyValue=4.5.5096.0

Minor differences in:
[OperatingSystem]
WindowsVersion=2K_SP4,XP_X86,2K3_X86
SystemLanguage=1033,2057
[OperatingSystem]
WindowsVersion=2K_SP4,XP_X86,2K3_X86
SystemLanguage=ANY

[SystemComponents]
InternetExplorer=ANY
WindowsMediaPlayer=ANY
DotNetFramework=ANY
WindowsInstaller=>3.1
DirectX=ANY
MSNMessenger=ANY
[SystemComponents]
WindowsInstaller=>3.1

In \Addons version but not in \Admin version:
[OfficeComponents]

Are both really necessary?

More duplicates were found and the APMs follow; internal differences not included because I will assume whoever is responsible for them can compare as necessary and make corrections/deletions; in some cases the sizes and the Date Modified are different.

DesertJerry you have mixed up the test scripts for AddOns and Admin releases with your normal release....THIS SHOULD NOT BE DONE AS IT WILL PRODUCE DUPLICATE UPDATES.Either use both the test script for Admin and AddOns in a backup of your regular APUP/AP.

As far as I am concerned maybe should just cancel these test scripts and leave things as they are currently released....Very little interest expressed in the ideas, nah stuff it Scripts for Admin and AddOns CANCELLED.

PLEASE DELETE THE ADMIN DIRECTORY AND APMS..

Hey, hold on now, DJ's just trying to help out.

edit:
At WAC's request(since he is the maintainer of the script) production of the script is halted unless someone else picks up the mantel.
