A Gesture of Good Will

Only the the non Operating System releases are on offer at the moment -- these being the Common Modules and Extras. Of course also the Admin Tools Package.
At least this will allow you a start to updating your APUP.
The download link is posted in http://www.autopatch...ent-apup-links/
Any errors or problems please report here, not in the release threads that they pertain to.

XP Pro w/SP3 > AutoPatcher > Microsoft Windows - Common Files > ... Malicious ...v5.2 has check mark. Checked APM and found
checked my registry, KeyValue is different:
APM edited > detection now blue.
XP Pro x64 > AutoPatcher > same problem with MRT > item black - Title is v5.2 but:
but it should read:
edit/changed and now blue.

is the correct value for MRT v4.22.7601 for July
Your mod would make it black for those with the July update.
Try and Install the new version and then check your registry.

So I have added both the Windows XP x64 and x86 releases to my dropbox to allow those who have tried to download and get errors.
Both releases have been re-signed.
Going one step further here by signing the Admin Tools Package and hopefully will stay Official for more than 24 hours

Proceeded to go through each of the other x86 releases and NO MRT update displayed.
Repeated for Windows 7 x64, Windows XP x64 and same as for the other OS's.
Seems strange that only Win 7 x86 is affected....will need to investigate this further

Q: Why does the Malicious Software Removal Tool (MSRT) install and run twice this month? It runs once during the first pass through Windows Update, then if you run Windows Update again it shows that MSRT is needed again. Once it downloads and runs the second time, Windows Update no longer thinks it needs to run again.
A: We are in the process of rolling out a new version of MSRT and to manage the risk, we are releasing the new version in stages over a few months. In this month, if you let Windows Update automatically download, you will get the old version. But if you manually check for it, you will get the new version. This is possibly the reason for the two offerings.
If this is the case then it needs to be decided what values to be inserted into KB890830_x86 and KB890830_x64 apms..Open for discussion

Have releases on the location as corrections and additions were needed, once these were made then signed the release. The downside to using the dropbox is that I need to maintain 2 copies of the work, one with dropbox location downloads and another for the autopatcher location, time consuming to say the least at keeping both in sync.
Will update the MRT (KB890830) apms shortly and update the dropbox location, once I cleared other matters out of the road first.
UPDATE: Common Modules has been updated and signed

Speaking of the main list... noticed that both dotNET releases are ticked every time I start apup (maybe something I did when I edited the list)... but this is really annoying, anyone else noticed this ????

My $Rel.list should not need any editing and can be merged into the main list the way it is.
