2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 1 (SP1). it says that also applies to Expression Web and Visual Web Developer. this one should be at office update, right? this one also should be offered only to those that has ms office installed, right? well, i don't have ms office and the current install of my windows xp never had, even trial versions. i hope that this one if being offered because yesterday i've updated msn to 14.0.8050.1202 and this one installs wllogin.msi choiceguard.msi RichUpload.msi Messenger.msi Microsoft Application Error Reporting (dw20shared.msi) - Microsoft Visual Studio Runtime crt.msi, Segoe UI Font - SegoeFont.msi Windows Live Call - wlc.msi, Windows Live Communications Platform - Contacts.msi and WLXSuite-ship-14.0.8050.1202 - WLXSuite.msi
so, i'm hopping that this update is due Microsoft Visual Studio Runtime, but they could offer at least an updated version for this one, isn't? the new msn has an full package that can be downloaded and it works, but it has an big problem: it has about 130MB. i didn't found an silent install (but to tell the true, i've just tried 2-3 times). this one doesn't extract with 7zip. if anyone wished create an module for that, you will first need run the web version for the installer and take the files that will be in the temp folder at %programfiles% . if i'm not mistaken, the folder is created under windows live.
but for autopatcher, despite we can download this one, it's too big and doesn't have an silent install. so, basically, i will not add it
for the update that is needed because this one, it's another problem. first of all, this isn't an update for windows, it's for an component. so...

I am posting here as I was advised by a fellow member that if seems like nothing has been done about a post to post here, just in case the brilliant script writers have missed the posts. You will also find that this post is in the office 2007 forum too.
I realise the scriptwriters are extremely busy, and if i knew how to write script i would do this for them. I just love this program and its ease of use, but sometimes things do get overlooked hence my posting to the hotfix forum.
Kindest Regards
Shaz

please, say to that fellow of yours that in deed something is happening in here: more and more the very few people that are willing to work for free are getting tired of more and more complains about this and soon or later, they will quit.
> if i knew how to write script i would do this for them
since the new autopatcher format, we had to learn that by ourselves. isn't hard to do. just give a look at the script that is downloaded and just open the .apm files with notepad and take a look

I thought what I had said was to simply post new updates in the Hotfix Depot for
the given application. Then, wait a sufficient amount of time and if nothing is done
a "bump" in the post is all that is needed. I never meant it to translate to "flood" the
forums with more of the same, everyone is aware of what needs updating at this point.
In fact, I said that if you need an update that bad use WU or MU.
Shaz has been on a roll since early December about this, atleast for XP SP3 x86 and Office.
Again, I'm sorry for my part.

Hey mike
I am sorry if it seems that I as you put it am "flooding the forum with more of the same" that was not my intention, i had no idea that everyone was aware of the updates required as I have had no response apart from you or Cristiano for the office updates I mean.
I check the site daily and as a result this is why i posted to the hotfix depot. I won't in future.
I will just windows update and won't bother even posting new updates anymore, as it seems my efforts aren't appreciated.

now, you seems be acting like a child. one warn is enough. we will see it and soon or later it will be fixed. there's no problem with a bump from times to times, but fload the entire forum with the exact same thing every single day bothers a lot. do you like of do an free work and every single day everybody bumping over your head with a thing that you already know and just doesn't have the proper time to do? we too don't. to stay just with the easy part, warn once about something is nice, every single day isn't. because of this exact same type of behavior, we already lost several release maintainers and the very few of us that are still kicking are barelly going to the exact same path already followed by those ones. for now, it's enough to know that we are strugling to keep this very forum running

I use it mainly for making CDs to update Office 2000, since that's been abandoned by Autopatcher.

thanks bizzybody, however I have used this program before and find autopatcher far easier to use and quicker. So i am happy to wait til the brilliant script writers have the time to update the script, until then i just keep checking wu and update from there. No Drama!!!!!!!
But thank you bizzybody, i appreciate it.
Cheers

Because, SP2 contains all updates, hotfixes etc. including SP1.
You can reduce size of your Office 2007 installation.
