Hi,

After a long time away, I am back here, pleased to see everyone alive :P
But...

I just installed APUP with its subfolder in ......\AutoPatcher, started it and got the usual (I guess) 3 lines to download:
 • AutoPatcher Updater 1.0.4
 • AutoPatcher Engine 5.6.81
 • AutoPatcher for Windows XP (x86) - Beta v3.63
The scripts are then downloaded.... And end with "Run-time error'0'!!!

I try to download only the engine... it then crashed after the real download, "unable" to unzip????

Any advice or help would be welcome!
Thanks

Re-download apup, and run it in an empty folder. First download just Autopatcher Updater by itself, then go for the other stuff.

Thanks for your answer.... And to be totally sure, I just did it!

:( But I just got same result: the script for the Autopatcher Updater is downloaded and then Error '0'!
Nothing changed!

I am so looking for something else.
Thanks again

PS: By the way, something strange in that script. The uz.exe file by itself is different then the one in the zip file.

Go ahead and start from scratch by deleting everything and then download the updater again from the link. When you run apup, run it with a /log and only choose to download the engine. After the failure a log file should appear called apup.log in the same folder. Go ahead and post it here so we can take a gander at it.

Sorry for the delay, but wanted to try somewhere else.... And yes, of course, it went fine

So my "home" computer is the guilty one. But I would still love to understand, so here is the end of that log file:
File does not exist!!!
Looking for file E:\Programs\AutoPatcher\bin\SSubTmr6.dll
File does not exist!!!
Item AutoPatcher Runtime doesn't appear to be here. Adding its downloads to queue...
Adding http://www.autopatch...pengine_bin.zip.
Finished adding downloads. Process queue.
Download queue status: 3 files waiting.
apengine_bin.zip: Download complete.
Download queue status: 2 files waiting.
apengine_lng.zip: Download complete.
Download queue status: 1 files waiting.
apengine_exe.zip: Download complete.
Download queue status: 0 files waiting.
Attempting to unzip E:\Programs\AutoPatcher\apengine_exe.zip into E:\Programs\AutoPatcher\
If I understand well, and as I guessed in my first post, trouble(s) could be linked to the "unzip" part.
Do I need something else, usually installed?
