in deed, Windows6.0-KB963027-x64.msu was corrupted. the size was right, but the md5 wasn't matching, due the corruption that i've detected when i was extracting the module. the script was updated to match with the right md5 for this one. also, the malicious software removal tool for this month is now online

enjoy

Windows Vista SP2 final was released today. so far, SP2 will work only for those languages: English, French, German, Japanese and Spanish

the remain languages will be released (according to some ms news) in a few days. SP2 isn't cumulative, meaning that everybody that is willing to install SP2 will require at least SP1. we don't us to keep updating obsolete things, meaning that in a short time, this topic will be closed and unpined. for now, the SP1 script will stay online as is, but it shall not be updated anymore. so please, as soon your sp2 language go online, update it.

in here, yours can find the x32 version and in here yours may find the x64 version. just remember that sp2 will only works for English, French, German, Japanese and Spanish and don't try install it yet if you aren't running your vista in those languages

Hi, while we're still updating the SP1 scripts, I'd like to point out that the update described in http://support.micro....com/kb/955430/ is required before installing SP2. Truth is, that update is a part of the file update (meaning the one that you download and run offline vs. the one offered by Automatic Updates)

However, it might be a good idea to include it in the scripts.

Get it here

Netizen, 955430 was added and also a lot of mistakes was found, like files in the wrong place, missing modules, etc. i have to double-check the fixes, but it's 1am plus now and in less than 6h i have to work. any issue, please report, because several of the issues found was present since long ago and or nobody has noticed or nobody cared about
