Hi
I had a good look through 400 or 500 post and there're a few thing I'm not to clear on. When you run the apup and it does the download does it download all the updates you could need for a fresh install or does it scan the pc it is currently running on and only download what that pc needs.

So

1 if it downloads all update on offer that would be great for updating any pc from disc at any time.

Or

2 if it downloads only what the pc needs that would mean the first time you use it. It would need to be on a fresh install so you could get all the updates.

Could anyone tell me how it works

Thanks

apup.exe downloads all needed updates for a clean install, then autopatcher.exe checks which ones you need an lets you install just those. You can also copy all updates to a CD and move them to another computer.
