I ran apup to download updates for WinXP on April 6 2008. On completion of the download (687MB), I was informed that a file (files?) had failed an integrity check but did the check procedure not specify which file or files. It would be useful to know the identities of such files so that enquiries can be made.

Agree 100 percent. Something is being worked on but I'm unsure when it will be out.

I have a notion that the fault is in the integrity check. I have never experienced a problem with a downloaded file from Microsoft which caused a malfunction with the application of an update.
