i'm confused...
in september of last year, the future of autopatcher seemed all but dead. today, there is a new build and updates for april 2008!
i'm overjoyed that autopatcher lives on, but what happened since september?? did microsoft have a change of heart (assuming it has one)? was there a deal struck?
it would be nice to know....

My understanding of what happened is that Microsoft had a major problem with their updates being provided from any other location other then "Microsoft Update"
The new Autopatcher pulls the update directly from the Microsoft site now & no ;longer has the one large file download from it's own site like it used to be.
Microsoft are OK about this I believe.
