..but not to AP.

Forgive me if this has been asked already but I couldn't find it anywhere. I did however find other answers to other questions I had by searching though.
'
Anyway:

I've been using AP before there were issues with MS. And now since things are back up, I have a question (or 2).
I have the older versions of AP XP and AP windows 2000 written to disc. We have since gotten a few Vista PC's in.

Now in the past, I would download the core (and whatever updates for it) for which ever OS I needed it for and then burn that core (and the updates) to disc and I could simply run AP from that disc to the PC I needed updated.

Has that changed? Cause as of right now I'm currently downloading the apup file and checked the boxes to include XP and Vista releases. And what I'm seeing within the apup folder are script files. Which is new to me.

Will I be able to continue on like I've done with the older version of AP. Or do I have to do something different now?

If this has been covered else where in the forum then please just direct me to the links and I'll go over it myself.
