Is there any further news on if/when Windows Home Server will be added to AutoPatcher? WHS is steadily becoming more mainstream with more and more homes using it.

Wow, talk about reviving a dead post. :) Unfortunately Erik Ramey is retired from AutoPatcher so there is likely not going to be a
Windows Home Server. It has been mentioned many times, if a user wants to attempt to build a script, have at it.

Using this documentation (very outdated) and by looking at an existing script, this should help you to begin building your own custom
script, though it wont be official it could be used to update your Home Server OS.
