Hi,
thank you for all your work.
I have basic questions for newcomer that I couldn't easiliy resolve reading the forum.
Does autopatcher recognize automatically the OS so I don't have different version for each os?
Does autopatcher core loads automatically the updates or I load them one by one from download?
Which month is the core version of autopatcher (it seems may 2007 is it that far) ?
on http://www.autopatcher.com/downloads/ I just find the updater , where is the core?
I've decided to go for Windows xp pro 64 rather than vista after reading your forum and for what I hear about the vista.
Where do I find the core version of autopatcher for xp64. ?
Thank You
sa

If you download the files for example of XP SP3 and the files for Vista, if you then run autopatcher on a pc with vista installed, autopatcher will install only the updates for vista. Of course if you run it on a pc with XP SP3 installed, it will only install the updates for XP SP3.

Autopatcher doesn't work with "core" and stuff like that anymore. The developers had some problems with Microsoft and needed to rework their programs.
The new way is to download apup (Click here). This is a program where you will choose which files you want to download.

To update a windows XP SP3 -> you should check these boxes in the apup window
required -> autopatcher updater
required -> autopatcher engine
required -> autopatcher xp sp3 x86
optional -> dotnet addon pack
optional -> directx addon pack
optional -> extras addon pack
The only difference for a SP2 package is "uncheck" the (xp_sp3) box, and
"check" the (xp_sp2) box

After you downloaded apup, downloaded the files for you OS(check those boxes) then run "autopatcher.exe" and then just follow the instructions.
