Missing Items in Tree View list categories

Downloaded WinXP SP2 (x86) English AutoPatcher files and everything seemed to download okay.
I can run autopatcher.exe and get past the EULA dialogues. When I come to the dialogue window that diplays the 'List of avialiable items', there is no expand/collapse widget to allow me to make the selections from within some of the categories. These categories being "Microsoft Windows - Critical Updates" and "Microsoft Windows - Recommended Updates".
However, there are some categories that are selectable using the expand/collapse widget. The Category for "Microsoft Windows - Updated Components" shows 3 listed items and "Windows Addons" shows 4 items to select.
Registry Tweaks only show checkboxes for Appearence; Functionality; Security; and Speed but there are no selectable items listed within each of these four sub-categories.
Any sugestions on how this could be resolved?

Hi TonyG...
Are you using the appropriate Autopatcher release?
AP for XP SP2 on an XP SP2 system...
AP for XP SP3 on an XP SP3 system?
Do you get a "Finish" tab when updating your AP release?
Check the log file to see if the script is finding all the necessary files
and the hashes match -> run "apup.exe /log" and view or post the log
if you are still having trouble.
Mike...
Sorry, my bad -> from Run -> apup.exe /log

Hi Mike...
"AP for XP SP2 on an XP SP2 system..." was my selection set.
apup.exe did hang on the very last second of the download and I did not get the opportunity to click the 'Finish' button. I had to assume it downloaded everything and the process completed in full. To dismiss the hanged apup, I had to kill apup with Windows Task Manager.
Tonight, I repeated the process but included the "Extra Addon Package". In the end it worked and I can now make selections from within the categories.
However, during this repeat effort, I came across some problems towards the very end. The following messages were returned:
"One or more files failed to validate. Would you like to continue at your own risk?"
I continued and the next error message was returned:
Run-time error '63'
Bad record number.
I clicked the OK button on this error window and was then presented with the 'Finish' button to which I clicked.
I have the log file but I chose not to post it here.

I am having the exatc same problem. I've tried it on two different systems. One running Vista SP1 and the other XP SP2. I get the same error on both.
"One or more files failed to validate. Would you like to continue at your own risk?"
and then
Run-time error '63'
Bad record number.
Then when I go to run autopatcher.exe it loads up but then there is nothing to check to update. It only shows like a total of 4 updates. No critical or recommended.

The modules aren't downloading when you use APUP. We will need the log file in order to troubleshoot.
Run apup.exe /log and post the log.txt file here.

It looks like uz.exe is failing to unzip all of your files. I'm curious if it's due to the fact that your first level folder has a space in it. Could you rename the folder to something like C:\TECH_TOOLS\ and try again?
