It seems that "rootsupd.exe" has been updated lately. The "link" for this
file is the same for "2K", "XP SP2", and "XP SP3", but "rootsupd.exe" and
the associted "apm" for "XP SP2" is different from "2K" and "XP SP3" based
on the hashes, and "2K" and "XP SP3" seem to be identical.

Question, before I archive "XP SP2", to have it as up-to-date as possible, can
I copy over "RootCert_enu.apm" and the "\RootCert_files\rootsupd.exe" folder
from either "2K" or "XP SP3" since everything else seems to be the same. This
rather than hoping for a "script" and "apm" change.

Mike

If you port over the version from SP3, you should be alright.

The other thing you will find is that you don't have the latest version of the Windows Update Agent 3.0 (WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe).

AutoPatcher is downloading version 7.0.6000.381, whereas the latest version is 7.1.6001.65.

Also missing is Windows Installer version 4.5 (WindowsXP-KB942288-v3-x86.exe)
