No Options to Install

mylogon's Photo mylogon 18 Jun 2008

Re-running apup a third time gives me options, and I have selected XP SP3, but when I run autopatcher - that is not an option. I have double-checked with winver -and I still have SP2.

Apup gets to finish when I select SP3, but autopatcher does not seem to find it or be able to use it. The directory with Office patched is 778 megs - so it must be there - but not even the office 2007 updates show up in autopatcher.

I have the following scripts in the directory:

autopatcher_addons.script
autopatcher_directx.script
autopatcher_dotnet.script
autopatcher_off_02_enu.script
autopatcher_off_07_glb.script
autopatcher_off_addon_enu.script
autopatcher_offsp_07_enu.script
autopatcher_xp_x86_enu.script

and for some reason
autopatcher_vista.script

But most do not show up in autopatcher.

You're not reading things correctly. <_<

AutoPatcher requires you to have SP3 already installed; it does not do the installing for you.

The items you saw checked as SP3 were those updates that AutoPatcher downloads and install for SP3 once you have it installed.
