Hi, I noticed that many releases are available in Italian and Portuguese as well, but none in French. I would like to know how I could help to create the French releases? I am getting tired of having to go through tons of Windows updates just because some of the people I know installed French XP/Vista/Office

I'm guessing here but I'll assume the reason is no one has opted to translate the English/Italian/Portugese to French.

If you want to do all that I'll bet the powers in charge of all this would welcome the effort.

you mean after translate? you may contact renato, erik, antonis to add something like this into releases.list:

to upload the files, any releaser can do it for you. you may uploat it by yourself too, after approved. but can be an nice thing ask if there's someone that already is in charge of that translation

I would like the APUP to be able to download the fixes that work with the French Windows versions.

Zenthar, the script isn't builded by himself. someone must catch the download links, check md5, sizes and translate all modules, before add that into releases.list. do you or someone else has that?

if don't, any already existent release should work fine also basis. then, is basically replace all infos to the language that you are translating for
