What is the file "uz.exe" for? Is it for downloading the updates?
Avira AntiVir Personal Edition with latest update "caught" it, saying it is infected with TR/Drop.VB.bag [trojan]. It's most probably a false positive, but what is the exact role of the file?
uz.exe - What is it?

Hi All,
I hope this message finds you well.
Me too, encounter the same error message by Nick_White. If I choose to delete the "infected" file, Autopatcher will return with the error "Missing files". I have not yet chosen the "Ignore" option.
Kindly advice.
ps. I can provide/email a sample screenshot of the error should it be needed.
Cheers.

As I have already said, uz.exe is part of AutoPatcher. If you delete part of a program, then that program will not work.
If you need advice about uz.exe being "infected" please read THIS TOPIC.
